....between the lines

Elections frauds have happened in multiple of occasions in the Maldives. When any issue is surfaced to an argumentative level then we are proving ourselves we are about to find a solution. When politicians start by the chapters of the constitution it becomes unclear of what they want to the public. When you are sold out how do you cater to your customers.

When a circumstance becomes the product then we are turning our back to the voters again. Whoever wants to win someones heart, then assurance for them to not to get hurt is needed. Will people be assured with the "harsh" words? We say Adolf Hitler was brutal, but why was he admired by his Nazi's? Simple reason is he convinced his followers that he is doing it for them.

Now you can judge the parties in the Maldives and their visions. When a group of people is convinced with their own need and making them hungry for it can convert them into a weapon. I say people of the Maldives are hungry for the freedom which they are convinced they have hungered from it. Elections result shows more than what any party has visualized.

I agree there might be a voting fraud but it’s almost impossible for a forty thousand excess of Votes as claimed. For my clarity I will keep the Elections Results as officially announced. From the visual of the picture we see a 45% lead for MDP and 25% for PPM and MDP was leading the bigger picture. Right now we are picturing MDP is losing ground from the day they started the protest.

This is a kind of trap for MDP to suffer in natural terms. President Nasheed resigned or was forced to resign due to actions conflicting judiciary. A protest by MDP against judiciary is a natural vibe which brings the state into a chaos resulting followers loosing hope. This may lead MDP to lose the elections battle but winning the war of reform. Now the question is if the PPM is ready to win the elections?
