Dreams, Forgiving and forgetting to live your dreams
I wonder who does not dream. I wonder how many of those dreams can come true. Life is wonderful for people who can look through and walk through their dreams till the end. What I have learned is consistency is very important in achieving life goals. Sticking what you want in your head and visualizing the goal as reality is supposed to be the theory of achieving your life goals. Each has their own perspectives on this issue while I shall say from my experience there is more than just visualizing making things smoother.
When we ride into details the dream we have is key objective and reaching there might be short or long depending on what you want. We have an age period of 70 year to calculate with a plus or minus 10 in natural life span. Some goes beyond that but its important your goal has to achieved within the span. Say one is 25 and what one focuses is an achievement to be completed at the age of 65, what that goal would be. Anything is possible as long as you believe and have faith in it to be achieved. But the walk through shall be detailed in a dream plan, which shall include you your life partner, your kids and your associates and how financial consideration along with possible conflicts.
Your life partner is supposed to be one of the most important factors to visualize. What kind of specific features and attributes you need from your life partner. Social and family values that you need your partner to have. What kind of a living style you need your partner to support you. The environment your kids need to be at and the education you need them to have and the possibility of your kids’ involvement in your life goal and how you will train them to fulfill your dreams. Once you know what you want you don’t have to do much. Things will start falling into places in time. The most important factor to understand is not be frustrated in anything along the way.
At first affair you might not have the correct person as your partner but you need to be consistent on the goal then there can be a second person who can be with you for your needs or if not the third or fourth until you get the right person you need to believe in your goal.
Usual picture is when one is not up to your expectation you start regretting for having that person and start hating the failed relationship. This ends up getting stuck on the way rather focusing the big picture. We need to learn to forgive and forget and go ahead in our lives. Or you will get stuck in between your life goal and where you started.
The usual next step for people who gets stuck and who can’t forgive and forget is even in the second affair one try to compare in contrast the past one with the present. Ends up failing again and again loosing hope for the future and achieving the goals one started living for. I wonder how many are there in our society who is stuck with their past.Sunday, June 6, 2010

We need the Maldives as ONE UMMAH.
It is natural for any of us to check what is new when it comes as information or styles or what ever which they feel is important comes to our doors or find it across the globe to experience what it really is? We all asked for the change, in freedom of expression, freedom of choices and also freedom of styles we adapt. None would choose something which they feel bad for them.
Dr. Zakir Naik and our (analytical web programmer) Mr. Nazim’s confrontation on apostasy is quite an issue for us these days. As to comment on this issue I see a lot of people in fault to judge the picture. Each wants their opinion or promotes what shall be the picture, while some are on politics with the same.
What did really happen?
In the light of recent changes or the directions we have why not we take a neutral ground to solve the bigger picture? NAZIM HAS A MISCONCEPTION TOWARDS RELIGION. and Dr. Zakir Naik is supposed to answer anyone who ask about what he is been ask on the topic of MISCONCEPTION OF ISLAM. Therefore it is for Dr. Zakir to answer the question as a professional in the line to guide people towards the light of Islam.
I do not want to the judge the answer and how it was posed since Dr. Naik is supposed to be a professor on the topic and how he feels like answering he did. The result is that Nazim could not believe what Dr. Naik said. If not there will not be issues as of such we see today.
HOW DO WE AVOID such incidences and keep our community united in this new upcoming information era with the globalization?
In faith I see we need to have “the one“concept of Islam promoted. As I believe Islam shall be the religion which we have to have in the Maldives and our constitution is on the right track on keeping Maldives as 100% Islamic nation.
The extremist thoughts along with the western cultures with the globalization which are getting implanted in our society are creating space for arguments and misconceptions as such. The truth is we are not ready to digest all these concepts, analyze and accept what it right. What is required is for us to take what is required for our benefits and leave the rest.
We need to promote the light of islam in a manner which none in our UMMAH (The Maldives ummah) will have doubts about religion and loose faith in the basics of life. Not one Sheik says this and the other says the same thing is that.
It is on to Islamic Ministry to create and lay guidelines for ones who has misconceptions. When one needs to identify more there shall opportunity for people to go and get questions answered on the right manner without deviating the points. This shall be done by Islamic Scholars. Not by medical doctors.
The answers shall be guided through Quran as our basic foundation connecting with Hadiths of Prophet (PBUH). May Allah bless us to be ONE Ummah.
